Nebraska Schools Add athletic trainers

 

Bryan Health and Lincoln Orthopaedic Center are pleased to announce their agreement with Litzenberg Memorial Hospital to provide full-time athletic training services to Central City High School as well as Nebraska Christian High School in Central City.

Sara Shively, certified athletic trainer and Central City native, will be available at daily practices and attend all varsity matches to evaluate, treat and provide first aid to athletes. She also will provide information on athletic injuries to student athletes, parents and coaches. In addition to her work with Central City high schools, Shively will cover other local athletic events and work at Litzenberg Memorial Hospital. Sara earned her bachelor of science degree in athletic training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a licensed, certified trainer in Nebraska and nationally.

In addition to Central City, Bryan Health and Lincoln Orthopaedic Center partner in providing athletic training services at high schools in David City, York, Wahoo, Seward, Waverly, Lincoln Christian, Lincoln Lutheran, Parkview Christian and Crete.
