Richardson a Candidate for AD at Montana Western

Three candidates for the University of Montana Western’s athletic director position have been invited to campus for final interviews.

Each candidate will visit the campus and meet with students, faculty, staff and members of the community in the next two weeks, search committee chair Chad Baver said.

“Our next athletic director will have an excellent opportunity to build on our student-athletes’ success and to work with the UMW Foundation to create even stronger ties with our alumni and community,” Chancellor Beth Weatherby said. “There has been a great deal of interest in this position. That is a testament to the hard work and vision of everyone in the athletic department.”

Community members are invited to attend open forum meetings with the candidates on the following dates in the STC Great Room:

John Kietzmann: April 18 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

Russell Richardson: April 28 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

JD Gustin: April 29 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
