The Molloy College Department of Athletics has expanded its athletic training staff, welcoming in Deanna Sisti, MS, ATC to its team of highly skilled and experienced athletic trainers.

Sisti graduated from LIU Brooklyn with a B.S./M.S. in Athletic Training and served as a trainer for several of the Blackbirds’ sports programs in her time there. She was an intern at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, serving as a first responder for initial injuries of athletes and guests. She worked as an injury assessor for a variety of sporting events including Pop Warner football, Special Olympics, the International Martial Arts Festival and the AdvoCare Invitational of NCAA Division I basketball. Sisti also volunteered at HorseAbility in Old Westbury, helping to assist physical therapists and occupational therapists with riding lessons.

“The addition of Deanna to our Athletic training staff enables us to adequately handle the medical needs of our growing number of student-athletes with two additional sports added for the upcoming fall,” said Director of Athletics Susan Cassidy-Lyke. “We are confident that her experience will translate well to our campus and our student-athletes.”

Sisti is a BOC certified ATC and a member of the National Athletic Training Association. She currently resides in Merrick.
