Texas A&M International University Hires Costa

The Texas A&M International University Sports Medicine office announced the hiring of Sarai Costa on Thursday.

Costa joins the Dustdevils after earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.

With over 1,000 hours in a clinical setting Costa will bring a wealth of experience to TAMIU. Most recently, Costa served in the clinical rotation at Thomas Edison High School in San Antonio where she worked with the Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Baseball, Track, and Tennis programs. Costa has been a member of the National Athletic Training Association since 2015.

During her time at UIW, Costa was a five time member of the Dean’s List. Costa was a member of multiple organizations including, National Society of Collegiate Scholars (2014-present), Society of Leadership and Success (2016-present), Iota Tou Alpha Honor Society (2016-present), Kappa Gamma Pi Honor Society (2017-present), and the Athletic Training Society (2016-present). Her academic accomplishments allowed her to earn the PACE Peer Award for Clinical Excellence.
