Brandon Wells Joins Utah State Athletic Training Staff

Utah State Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Mike Williams announced the addition of Brandon Wells to the athletic training staff on Friday.

Wells comes to the Aggies by way of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he served as the athletic trainer for men’s basketball and coordinated athletic medical insurance since 2012. Prior to his time with the Panthers, Wells worked for three years with the football and men’s basketball teams at Augustana College in South Dakota.

Wells was a graduate assistant at Minnesota State-Mankato from 2007-09, earning a master’s degree in exercise physiology, and earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training from Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2007.

“I’m excited to be a part of the sports medicine staff under Mike Williams and working with the caliber of program as Utah State men’s basketball,” Wells said. “I want to thank Mike Williamsand John Hartwell for this opportunity, and also want to thank friends, mentors and co-workers at UW-Milwaukee for helping me to develop within my career.”

Wells will work with the men’s basketball team at Utah State and help with other duties within the sports medicine department.

Wells and his wife, Shila, have two children – Zaiden and Shealynn – and plan to reside in Cache Valley.
