Krug Receives Outstanding Service Award

Silverton High School athletic trainer Jennifer Krug recently received the Outstanding Service Award from the Northwest Athletic Trainers Association for her efforts with the Foxes.

The organization is made up of athletic trainers from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

The award “recognizes those athletic trainers whose outstanding contributions and dedicated service have furthered the advancement of the NWATA and the athletic training profession,” according to a press release from the organization.

NWATA’s release went on to say, “Krug was nominated by her peers for being an outstanding professional and exemplifying what it means to care for athletes and patients in the toughest of situations. She has been a great advocate for athletic training to the local high school, the community of Silverton, Oregon, and while covering many state events.”
