Fuller Hired at Georgia College

The Georgia College Department of Athletics and head athletic trainer Paul Higgs have tabbed a familiar face for the third assistant athletic trainer in school history, as former graduate assistant Sarah Fuller will take over the post.

“We are excited that Sarah has accepted the assistant athletic trainer position and will continue her professional career at Georgia College,” said Higgs. “She has a phenomenal work ethic and clinical skill that will greatly enhance our ability to make a positive impact in the lives of our student-athletes.”

Fuller has spent two seasons as an athletic training graduate assistant for the Bobcats, working primarily with women’s basketball and cross country. Prior to that, she worked as an undergrad student at Peach Belt Conference (PBC) foe Lander University, earning a degree in athletic training in 2014. She assisted with nearly all Bearcat sports, and was herself a member of the Bearcat Softball team as well.

“I’m very excited to continue to be a part of the Georgia College family,” said Fuller. “The past two years as a graduate assistant have been a great growing experience for me professionally. I look forward to continued growth as an athletic trainer by remaining a part of this institution and conference.”
